  7. Eicon Technology's SNA Gateway is a sophisticated communications product that
  8. provides micro-to-mainframe connectivity to standalone and LAN-based PC UNIX
  9. workstations.  SNA Gateway supports SDLC or X.25/QLLC with full support for
  10. Node Types 1, 2, 2.1, and LU Types 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6.2, and 7.  Clients on LAN
  11. Manager IPX or TCP/IP LANs using DOS, OS/2, and Windows applications can use
  12. the SNA LAN Gateway as though each had a network connection.  The SNA Gateway
  13. makes use of the EiconCard, an intelligent communications adapter, which
  14. supports up to 254 simultaneous connections, and/or sessions.  Up to 32 PUs
  15. can be active per EiconCard, with up to four EiconCards per SNA Gateway
  16. workstation.  The SNA Gateway includes emulation of the following IBM devices:
  17. remote 3X74s, local 3174, 5251, and 5294 Control Units.  SNA Gateway supports
  18. the Eicon Technology terminal emulation software and applications developed
  19. with Eicon Technology SNA Toolkits for DOS, OS/2, and Windows clients.
